Ostroh, c.1715: Rabbi Yosef Landau of Klimontów, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah.
Interestingly, there was an special guest at the event – his new wife! R’ Yosef had married the daughter of the rabbi of Ostroh, Rabbi Betzalel Katz, just a few months prior, at the young age of 12. His wife definitely took part in his Bar Mitzvah festivities.
