Cracow 1572: The Remuh passed away!
To my knowledge, today is the only yahrzeit mentioned in the Poskim on Shulchan Aruch!
“And I heard from an old man who testified that he was in the holy community of Cracow in the year [5]333 (1573), when the Remuh, of blessed memory, passed away on Lag BeOmer. They were uncertain whether to recite Tzidduk HaDin, and an important person stood up and testified that he had heard from the Remuh himself that Tzidduk HaDin should be said for a great man. And they immediately recited it for the Remuh in a loud voice.”
