Jarosław, 1618: Siddur Rabbi Shabsai gets approved!

One of the most famous siddurim, is the siddur known by the name of it’s editor, Rabbi Shabsai Sofer of Przemyśl. R’ Shabbsai was an expert on dikduk-grammar, and he edited the siddur to perfection. So much so that the Council of the Four lands requested that each siddur, of the Shaliach Tzibbur, from each community be edited according to his version! The approbation was signed by the leading Polish rabbanim of that time, headed by the Maharsha, and the Bach.
