Goshen 2369 AM: Moshe Rabbeinu was born.

Moshe Rabbeinu was born 7 Adar, and he passed away 7 Adar A, 2489 AM.

We find a disagreement between father and son, Chacham Zvi, and Rabbi Yakov Emden, about when to celebrate his yahrzeit in a leap year. Chacham Zvi’s opinion is to observe it in Adar B, as it is connected to Purim, which is celebrated in Adar B. R’ Yaakov Emden argues that according to one opinion in Chazal, Moshe Rabbeinu was put into the Nile river, on 21 Nissan, 3 months after his birth, which would only make sense if he was born in Adar A (that would be 3 months, part of Adar A, Adar B, and part of Nissan).
