Prague, 1619: The Kli Yakar passed away in Prague.

Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim Luntschitz was originating from the royal town of Łęczyca, Poland. He was the author of Ollelos Ephraim and Kli Yakar, and the successor of the Maharal in Prague. It is interesting to note that in those days, two names were very rare, or even unacceptable.  The same applies to the Kli Yakar, his original name was only Ephraim. The name Shlomo was added later due to an illness.
