Vrbové 1942: Jews are fasting, and praying for their brethren in Poland.

Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss, the rav of Verbau [Vrbové], and his colleagues, the rabbanim of the nearby cities, instigated a fast upon hearing the tzaros the Polish Jewry were suffering under the brutal hands of the cursed Germans. In this fast participated men, women, and young children.
