Heilbronn, 1753: Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Sondheimer , the rav of Hannau, was born.
R’ Moshe Tuvia, authored the sefer ‘Or P’nei Moshe’. At the end of the sefer, we find ‘Megilas Hannau’, in which R’ Moshe Tuvia, writes the frightening moments of the community, when they were trapped in the front lines, besieged by the forces of Napoleon, on the 7th of Cheshvan 1813.
