Warsaw, 1833: The Plocker gaon passed away.

Rabbi Aryeh Leib Zünz was born in Pińczów to his father R’ Moshe Eybeshütz.

R’ Leib Charif, as he was known in his time, is particularly famous for his tzava’ah–last will, which is engraved on his gravestone. It reads that whoever will make an effort, to print his sefarim, he will be a Melitz Yosher for them.”

One of his famous disciples was the Ri”m–R’ Itche Meyer from Warsaw, today known as the Chidushei Harim of Ger.
