Prague, 1610: Rebbitzen Pearl, the wife of the Maharal, passed away.

Rebbitzen Pearl, was the second wife of the Maharal.

On her gravestone, she’s compared to the holy Imahos–matriarchs:

“Like Sarah and Rivkah, the cloud was bound,

“The blessing in the dough was found.

“The candle from Shabbos to Shabbos stayed lit,

“Like Leah and Rachel, she was an Akeres Habayit.”

Her resting place is next to her great husband, the Maharal, with a single Ohel on both of their graves.
