Today, 233 years ago, in the year 1787, the last burial took place in the old Jewish cemetery in Prague.
This information we read, on the gravestone which was set on this very grave. The gravestone is from R’ Moshe Beck. He was a member of the Chevra Kadisha. On his gravestone, we read: “He was the last who was buried here, at the command of the kingdom yarum hodo.”
