Cracow 1644: The Tosfos Yomtov is accepted as rav.

The following Friday, Parshas Terumah, the leaders gathered all the officials of the town for a meeting in the Beis HaVaad in the Old Shul. They called for the three shamashim–beadles, and the servants of the community. They were given torches in their hands and instructions to go over to the house of Rabbi Yomtov Lipman Heller, known as the Tosfos Yomtov, they invited him to join them, in the procedure of passing over the position to be the sole Av Beis Din of the community.

As he entered, he was greeted with a Mazel Tov and was seated on the dedicated chair from the rav.
