Today, 745 years ago, in the year 1275, Rabi Barach from Worms passed away.
Rabbi Baruch was the father of Rabbi Meir bar Baruch, known as the Maharam of Rothenburg.
The Maharam overshadowed his father with his greatness, therefore the Maharam wouldn’t visit his father, so as not to put his father in a situation, where he will have to give honour to his son, due to his son’s status.
