Today, 387 years ago, in the year 1633, the holy community of Cracow, was shocked to hear that the young Mekubal the Gaon Rabbi Nate Spiro had passed away at a young age.

He left behind his widow, Roise, his two sons Moshe and Shlomo, and we know of a few daughters as well.

He was only 48 years old, but he left us a legacy for generations to come – his holy sefarim Megaleh Amukos. 

R’ Nate, was put to rest in the old cemetery in Cracow and was later joined by his wife and children.
