Today, 193 years ago, in the year 1827, the Chavas Daas, wrote an approbation on his cousin’s sefer Yam Hatalmud.
The Chavas Daas wrote this approbation, whilst in Kalush [Ukraine]. Eventually, he made his way to Stree [Stryj], where he used to serve as Rav, in his youth. More about his arrival in Stree, see our current issue of Kankan [issue 13] or here.
